Second funding phase: CoRe-Net II

01.05.2020 – 30.04.2023

CoRe-Net started its second funding phase in May 2020. The competence network of practice and research will be funded for another three years by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), which approved structural funding totalling 2.1 million euros for this purpose.

Aims of the competence network in the second funding phase:

  • Expansion and consolidation of a stable network of healthcare research and practice
  • Development of communal supply reports
  • Expansion of the CoRe-Net database
  • Continuation of the sub-projects LYOL-C, MenDis-CHD and OrgValue

In the long term, the network aims to create the knowledge prerequisites that make it possible to redesign care processes and structures towards more patient-centredness with simultaneous cost awareness – value-based healthcare. The focus is on the development of healthcare according to the concept of learning organisations.
Furthermore, a sustainable structure for the operation of CoRe-Net from 2023 is to be established.
