The World Café table from the project OrgValue engaged with practice representatives to develop ideas in how research results could best be shared with health care organizations.

From a practice perspective, it is crucial to provide contents and tools to the organizations for enabling a self-evaluation. The research group should bestow individualized feedback to practice. Another success factor for the exchange between practice and research is to ensure the benefits of study participation are transparent. For enhancing communication of research findings, a “research ambassador” within the organizations could be helpful.

The discussion revealed that science has to be more sensitive toward practice and vice versa.
