Supply Reports

Outlook
During the second funding phase, three supply reports with different focal points will be developed and published for Cologne. The supply reports take up the tradition of communal health reporting. The CoRe-Net database (CoRe-Dat) serves as the data basis.
In order to address current care-related topics and needs in the reports, the development of the care reports is supported by an advisory board of stakeholders from the greater Cologne area, such as patient representatives, care providers and political decision-makers.

The reports focus on issues such as:

  • Frequencies of illness
  • health costs
  • Health care structures and processes

The evidence thus provided should help to identify specific needs and areas for communal intervention to improve care. This knowledge is to be made available to political decision-makers, health care providers and the citizens of Cologne.

Announcement
The first supply report, which is expected to be published in the first half of 2021, will focus on health care for people in their last year of life. It is based on the results of the LYOL-C project and will be prepared jointly by the PMV research group and the Centre for Palliative Medicine at University Hospital Cologne.
